I am an Associate Professor of Journalism and the Founding Director and Editor-in-Chief of the transformative journalism program Communities of Hope at Roger Williams University. I was featured in 2021 as one of the top 10 notable journalism educators by Crain’s NewsPro Magazine; in the same year I became a Solutions Journalism Network LEDE Fellow.
