I am The 19th's economy reporter, where I cover women, women of color and LGBTQ+ people in the economy, with a focus on workplace inequality, child care and economic policy that affects marginalized groups. In 2021, I was a national Livingston Award finalist for my coverage of the women’s recession. I was born in Cuba and speak fluent Spanish.
