The Health Journalists Network (HEJNU) in Uganda has been working to improve the quality, accuracy, and visibility of science journalism in the country. HEJNU's members are all journalists who report on science and health regularly, and at least 80% of them are women. HEJNU's work includes training journalists, mentoring young journalists, and organizing monthly media science cafés.
