I (they/them) am a reporter at the Los Angeles Times. I write about L.A. County government, primarily the county’s mental health treatment system. Before joining The Times, I worked at the Oklahoman, where I wrote extensively about mental illness and addiction. I am a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University and have a master of legal studies degree from UCLA School of Law.
