"I wanted to do solutions journalism because I loved the idea and understood the theory, but at first I wasn’t sure how to do it. I looked for inspiration in SJN’s Solutions Story Tracker, and while I came across great work, I had questions about how the journalist found the story, how they reported it, how they found evidence, etc.
I thought others might have similar ones, so I decided to speak with the reporters who published the stories … and why not share it with others? Behind the Solutions is a 6-episode podcast produced with the European Journalism Centre that takes you behind the scenes of some great solutions journalism stories with the people who reported them. It tackles serious, complex issues, but from the point of view of actions addressing them. These examples will show you another side of the world.
