Solutions-Oriented TV Program "Chicago Politics" Premieres May 19

"Chicago Politics," a news program hosted by solutions journalism trainer and journalist Hugo Balta and journalist Samantha Lampkin, premieres May 19. The show is the result of a collaboration between Chicago Access Network TV and Illinois Latino News, an affiliate of the Latino News Network, of which Balta is the publisher. According to Balta, the show will "bring a solutions journalism approach to coverage, showcasing the responses to the challenges our city faces and investigating the evidence, insights and limitations of why those responses are working or not."

Even though it hasn’t even premiered yet, it’s clear there should definitely be more of this.
