J. Israel Balderas

J. Israel Balderas is an Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist and educator. He also provides pro bono legal support focused on First Amendment protection for newsgathering and access to public records. Balderas is an assistant professor of journalism at Elon University in North Carolina, and is active in the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the Society of Professional Journalists.
