Kamna Shastri

Kamna Shastri is a writer, community journalist and communications professional with over a decade of experience working with a range of mission driven media and community organizations including KUOW FM, NPR, Real Change, South Seattle Emerald, International Examiner, Washington Environmental Council, and The Wing Luke Museum.

She specializes in long-form feature writing, developmental editorial support, podcast production, and participatory community engagement. She has spent many years working with youth journalists as a mentor and editor and is passionate about advocating for communities to determine their own narratives.
