Melissa Cassutt

Melissa Cassutt (she/her) is SJN's Program Manager of Beacons & Advanced Practice: She helps lead SJN’s Revenue Accelerator initiative, mentoring newsrooms to leverage their solutions journalism into dollars to support their work. Previous to this role, she supported rural and Indigenous newsrooms in expanding their solutions journalism through various initiatives. She is an award-winning journalist who worked across the Mountain West before joining SJN in 2021. Melissa is also the founder of the Wyoming Local News Fund.
