Guy Porter

Guy leads projects in investigative journalism, digital campaigns and learning. As a Trainer for the London-based Centre for Investigative Journalism (CIJ), he develops and facilitates workshops that introduce digital and open-source research tools and methodologies to local and international newsrooms and nonprofits. He has designed and delivered bespoke training programmes for a number of partners including the Public Media Alliance (PMA), the British Library and UNESCO. His investigations on climate mis/disinformation and digital threats to democracy have been published in the European and Australian press. His digital and data-driven insights have supported strategic communications campaigns for a number of local and international organisations including Freedom From Torture, Avaaz, Luminate and The Sunrise Project.
