Priti Salian

Priti Salian has worked as an independent print and online journalist for 15 years and has reported from India, Germany and Uganda on global health, human rights, development, culture, and more specifically covered issues of disability, gender, education, healthcare and ageing. She was Robert Bosch Foundation’s Media Ambassador to Germany in 2019 and a journalist fellow of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism in 2022, where she conducted research on disability inclusion in India's news and newsrooms. Priti has contributed to The Guardian, the BBC, The BMJ and The Lancet. She is a certified Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion media trainer.
