Raoul Junior Lorfils is a journalist with over a decade of experience in reporting and media management. Twice awarded the Prix du Jeune Journaliste en Haïti, he served as editor-in-chief of Loop Haiti, a branch of the Caribbean media group Loop News. With a focus on social issues, he led projects to enhance the representation of minority groups (such as disabled individuals and sexual minorities) in media and showcase Haiti's positive aspects. His work has appeared in major national outlets including AlterPresse, Ayibopost, and Le Nouvelliste, and he has collaborated with international media on Haitian coverage. In addition to his editorial roles, Raoul trains journalists in Haiti, promotes solutions-oriented journalism, and raises awareness against misinformation. He holds a bachelor's degree in journalism, a master's in media management, and has studied international relations.
