APPLY NOW: Train-the-Trainers for Underrepresented Communities (May 2025 Cohort)

Applications for the next round of SJN’s Train-the-Trainers program are open through Apr. 7. This is an opportunity to develop solutions journalism training skills and to support solutions journalism projects with SJN's accreditation and support. We are seeking applicants from underrepresented communities in the United States, such as racial and ethnic minorities, women + nonbinary, people with disabilities, those from underserved communities, the LGBTQ+ community, rural communities and those living in news deserts. You’ll get incredibly in-depth training, along with a wonderful cohort to learn with and from.

Each session will last for three hours on May 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23, between noon and 3:00pm EDT. In addition, we'll ask the participants to attend an hour-long SJN webinar to get familiar/refresh their knowledge of solutions journalism.
