A New Solutions Journalism Newsroom

We’re excited to see a brand-new, solutions-focused outlet launching in Hawai‘i. Overstory is a nonprofit newsroom that will work to “[leverage] technology, storytelling and community collaboration ... to inform, inspire and accelerate action for a more restorative and thriving Hawai‘i.” That’s a fantastic statement of purpose, and Overstory is hard at work on it: Coverage areas already include health, housing and environment.
