Dalya Massachi

Dalya serves as the Executive Producer/Editor of the Everyday Climate Champions Podcast, highlighting local residents from many walks of life who are taking climate action in their own communities. She leverages her professional background as a writer, editor, journalist, and trainer to focus on accelerating the just transition to a climate-safe world that works for everyone. She trained in 2021 as a Climate Leader with the Climate Reality Project, and was a fellow in the 2024 Climate Cohort of the Solutions Journalism Network.

Dalya is also an experienced community organizer (e.g., as founder of the network of Bay Area International Development Organizations and the organizer of a monthly community cleanup of the MLK Shoreline in Oakland, CA). She holds an M.A. in Communication and International Development.
